    Hi,
    I am working in "s60 3rd_MR" and using "carbide c++ 1.3" IDE.
    In my application I am using "RBTSecuritySettings" class.

    Showing error "undefined identifier" after compilation.
    I included
    #include <btmanclient.h>
    in the header file.

    what could be wrong..?

    Pls help me.
    thanks in advance.

    If you search for RBTSecuritySettings in the SDK Help, the first hit is going to be "Removed APIs in S60 2nd Edition, FP2", where it is explained that you should use TBTSockAddr::SetSecurity instead.

    I followed your instruction, But I got this:

    To use the security manager, a client must:

    Create a session to the security manager, RBTMan, and open a connection.

    Create a subsession to the security manager, RBTSecuritySettings, and open it. A client can have multiple subsessions open if required. (Sessions and subsessions are part of Symbian OS's architecture for interprocess communication: see Client/Server Overview).

    Close subsessions and sessions when they are no longer needed.

    Can u give me more tips?
