Hi, I'm a software programmer but new to mobile development. Any ideas where to get started (articles, books, etc) and what development tools I need? My phone is Nokia 6300.

HI, i have used NOKIA 6300(S40 OS) for several years. I installed a new OS from NOKIA customer service last month(2010/12). Yesterday i found that there is something wrong with 'Contacts'.
i cannot search any contacts, the OS always show 'No record of the selected memory'.
Ovbiously, it is a software issue. right?
Should i spend another 100RMB to renew the OS of 6300?
what the hell your QA/tester are doing?
I am not familiar with embedded system, but i think maybe you guyes should learn to Microsoft. Their testing is powerful, effective...

Actually Microsoft has dumped platform compatibility with its entire mobile product line which was existing that time when your 6300 was released (2006). Just in case if you want to learn something from them.
