Problem while reading message from inbox

Hello All,
I am facing a weird problem.I am trying to get the contents of the recent message in the inbox.
I am pasting a message from the msgout folder to the msgin folder so that the message is received in the inbox of my emulator. Now if I start the emulator, and paste the msg into the msgin folder and then start my application , I get to retrieve the contents ( which I am displaying using a Information Note)and everything works fine. The problem comes when I start my application and then paste the msg in the msgin folder.In this case I get to see the contents of the SMS ,but after exiting the application , it panics.
I am not able to figure out...can anyone please tell me what can be the possible reason for this panic?

Perhaps you may consider revealing the panic code. Otherwise the approach generally works.
