Help! How to create a theme in .sisx format?

Hi Everyone! Help needed...

I'm using Carbide.ui to create mobile theme for symbian phones.
Can anyone tell me if I can use Carbide.ui create a theme in .sisx format and supporting S60 3rd Edition phones?

(Currently all the themes I created are in .sis format, having problem installing on Nokia S60 3rd Edition phones)

Hi, the sisx is just extension to the file it just suggest that installation package is aimed for S60 3rd Edition devices.

In Carbide.ui just choose option "Target platform" (in "Create new sis package dialog") with setting for S60 3rd Edition devices.

thanks for your reply.
i've tried what you advised, but my Carbide.ui only allow me to have the package extension as *.sis, not allow *.sisx

When i try to change the file ext to sisx, i got an error msg that doesn't allow me to proceed. Do you have this problem?

I do not understand why do you want to create sis package with extension .sisx. The sis created for S60 3rd edition will work.

If you want to have your sis with .sisx extension anyway, just go to the path where it is located (from the image it is D:\NOKIAS60THEMES\nokia3rd\), and rename the file (for your case nokia3rd.sis to nokia3rd.sisx).

I had the same problem. I created one and the next ones didn't work. I suppose that the first theme you created worked, the others didn't.
you should change the certification keys. In this way each will have its certificate and won't be mixed up in your selfphone. You can do this when you create a new sis package. Don't select the same key that has default since you create your first theme

Just rename your sis file to sisx extenstion. We do this for long time.
