Information about the Nokia 9210 Communicator4s security features can be found in the "Nokia 9210 Communicator Security White Paper". The document is available on Forum Nokia web site under Symbian Platform section. The Nokia 9210 Communicator supports following cryptographic algorithms in SSL/TLS:

- for data encryption: RC4 (plus the "export" version with 40 secret bits), DES, Triple-DES
- for server authentication and/or key exchange: RSA, DSA, Diffie-Hillman
