icons in application

Hi all,

I have created some icons by using adobe photoshop CS2 and used in my application.
But i have a commmon problem in my icons. The edges of icons looks like broken.

I wanted to know can we create icons using Series 60 Theme Studio,

if i create icons using this application, can it give better icons to my application.

or if u have any method to develop icons for series 60 phones please share with me.

For better results you should go for SVG icons..
You can create SVG icons with Adobe Illustrator... Convert them to SVG-Tiny format using the
SVG2SVGT tool present in the SDK...
Make a .mif file and use them...

but SVG icons can be used only with 3rd edition and above rite

does 2fp3 also support SVG icons

Actually it may. S60 2nd FP3 was the first one introducing the concept of "Scalable UI" - earlier devices were always 176x208, however the N90 is 352x416 - so SVG support may be there, you should check the SDK.
