Limit of the QListWidget ?

Hi,

I am creating one icons QListWidget and adding up some 500 icons to the list.
There is no problem in adding the icons, but when I scroll down the list, the application is crashing at around 200th icon.

Any idea, What is the limitation of the QListWidget ??

Hi Sachin,

500 icons can consume a lot of memory. You could use some tool (for example nokia energy profiler) to check if memory consumption increases when you scroll down the list. At least QIcon documentation says that the icon is loaded on demand if using QIcon::QIcon (const QString & fileName) (I haven't tested this).

At least a list without icons works well even if there is 3000 items.
