Date / time from Internal GPS on E90 wrong?

Hi Everyone,

I have been developing an application that uses the internal GPS of an E90 mobile.

The time that I get from the internal GPS is wrong. When I set the time zone settings on the phone to be UTC +2.00 the time returned from the GPS is 4 hours behind on the UTC time, however if I set the time zone setting to London UK +0.00 then the time returned from the GPS 2 hours behind UTC. I would have expected the GPS time returned from the GPS to be in the UTC timezone regardless of the timezone on the phone, but this does not seem to be the case.

Any idea what I might be doing wrong or has anyone else come across this scenario?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Just to be clear on how you formatted your E90. Did you flush the firmware on the phone to a difference version and was this problem then resolved?

The problem was resolved with my phone. I used the hard reset.

Right - how is this hard reset performed (Apologies, I have never reset an E90). Is it done using the phone interface setting it back to Factory defaults, or is there some other procedure to follow in order to perform the hard reset on the phone?

Green + 3 + * (keep these pressed while switching on)

Warning: All data (including files, messages, contacts, etc) would be deleted.
