how to show back-to--back messages

hi all,

i'm developing j2me application that can send and receive messages, and it is working, but when two or more messages are coming within the gap of few seconds, i'm not able to view all messages, the last message is overwriting the previous one. Please help me what should i do.

Are you having in mind the following consideration:

When an incoming message arrives, the notifyIncomingMessage() method is called. The application MUST retrieve the message using the receive() method of the MessageConnection.MessageListener should not call receive() directly.

There is a good example in the javadocs.

If I am not wrong then are you pointing towards these lines-

NOTE: The implementation of this method MUST return quickly and MUST NOT perform any extensive operations. The application SHOULD NOT receive and handle the message during this method call. Instead, it should act only as a trigger to start the activity in the application's own thread.

And that means next message can only be received after the notifyIncomingMessage(MessageConnection conn) returns.

I would like to ask that can my application send me the sms includes the information lets say my friends cell number or so on on receiving of sms....
