reading configuration param

Hi All,
I want to read some parameters to my application from configuration,
is there a quick way in symbian, that the user can insert value to some parameter and my application will be able to read it, accept from reading a file? (somthing like getting from registry in windows mobile)

No Windows registries here, so you have to implement the file saving & retrieving by yourself. Easiesr file access can be done with RFile, and also dictionary stores are nice for settings savings, have a look into Wiki, it should have exmaples on both.
