Launch Realplayer from inside a J2ME Application

I'm developing a streaming client and I've been looking how to launch realplayer from inside the j2me application. I've read somewhere that I must use Manager.createplayer, but I'm wondering if this is the same as running RP.

afaik the Player layer will start up the internal player, which on some phones (like SE's) is the realplayer...
