    I'm trying to play amr files in Nokia 6212 but MIDlet throws Exception: "Sounds not allowed".
    Does it mean that amr is not supported in that phone?

    Quite interesting thing, MIDlet installed on another Nokia 6212 works fine. But same MIDlet installed on other Nokia 6212 phone throws Exception "Sounds not allwed" . What could be wrong? Firmware? Does anybody experienced same problem?

    No. it's called business!! Maybe getting your app signed and certified could help.
