You can make modules, easiest way I would see it would be to do ecom modules implementing controls or views, and loading them from the main application, haven't seen any real documentation on that, but one exmaple would be my Y-Broser filemanager, which has the module part as open souce project at my home site.

I would anyway start by looking into the example found in SDK as well as in the example section on this forum. Also do remember to check what wiki has, and google can find suprisingly nice stuff often.

So check out the stuff, and when you have more specific problems, then just open a new thread and ask.

And, yes, you do need the traffic to go through a central server (you can't open a direct phone-to-phone connection over cellular networks as the phone's are not directly visible to each other).

You don't need a VPN connecting for it.

Also, are you working on the same program as rajul? http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...d.php?t=157611

Use the private message capability of the discussion boards. Simply click on the users name and it usually allows for private (anonymous) messages. Be sure you have yours enabled (in your profile settings) when you send one out so they can reply.

suppose we have a scenario wherein we have multiple individual applications/projects.And now we need a common start point(UI) from where we can select which application we want to choose in carbide c++.
we were thinking of options menu with list of applications, how to implement this linking?

You could have separate application and define them hidden, so their icons are not shown, and then just run them normally, either embedded or not, depending on how you like it, or if you want to make it a bit more with "suite" approach, then you could try the approach I was trying to explain earlier in this thread.

The server application desinging issues are not reallt related to mobile revelopment, they are basically designed just as they would for any clients, thus google might be your best help on finding information..
