Volume of Recording

Hi everyone

I'm try to use the example in S60_Platform_Audio_Streaming_Example_v2_0_en.zip(download from this forum).

I can run it well on my phone,but I find the volume of recording is so low that I nearly can't hear it when playing back.

Is there any way to enhance the volume of recording?

voicerecorder.exe in Nokia phones are much better than this example,what is the problem?

hi carlrex, on my case, it isn't problem, when record, i not setting the volume, and when playback, i controll the output stream volume, so the playback volume is ok.
did you set output volume?

Hi,

Recording volume is called gain. There is a SetGain() method, for setting the gain and a MaxGain() method for finding the maximum possible value (0 is the lowest).
