Nokia 5800 v20 Firmware introduces on-screen joypad, How to remove?

Hi All,

I am 99% finished on my game but have just discovered that after upgrading my firmware the new flashlite player on the 5800 has an onscreen joypad which totally messes with my game and its control methods.

It must be able to disable it because "sodoku master" which is a flash based game manages to do so,

Does anybody know the command to do so?

Thanks guys but I managed to resolve myself, In case anyone else encounters this issue and needs to do it the command required is...

thank you for your replay this page is very helpful to devolope but i made the code in flash cs3 and i send it to the phone as a swf file and nothing change

I think i can help t. Just paste this code

fscommand2("DisableKeypadCompatibilityMode");

in the 1st frame of ur action script .Thats it !! and set ur swf settings to flash lite 3 and action script 2 while exporting.Now , compile it , send it to ur device via bluetooth or usb and run the app by clicking on it .

I m using macromedia flash 8 at the moment which is quite out dated .Will update after exams.I think u r calling it after fullscreen fscommand. It wont work if u call it after fullscreen .Do a last test and it will surely work .Put this in the first frame :

fscommand2("DisableKeypadCompatibilityMode");
fscommand2("fullscreen", "true");

and send it to ur device and give a try.. Hope it helps u. Else i will try to provide u swf as soon as i upgrade .

Do u initialise the service class before settinh the flash app to full screen ??

Actually , Keypad is for user convenience to support the flash contents which do not support touch screen . According to my vision, a regular user cant disable the keypad unless he contact the developer to disable the keypad capability . May in the next firmware , there will be a option . So, just chill .
