Difference between Application UID and Package UID.

Hi all,

I read symbian signed test criteria and I am confused in Point 9(Package UID) and Point 13 (Application UID).

Can any one tell what is difference between these two UIDs.

It's urgent.

Hello Sumit,

One another question. Application UID and Package UID are same and application is running properly then why Symbian distinguish these two UIDs. Please answer my question.

Because they can be very different, as well as the packet can have multiple application which all are using different UIDs.
