Flash Lite with Javascript - not in a WRT widget

Hi,

Is it possible to communicate between Flash lite and Javascript without a widget? I have read the recent post on communicating with flash lite from javascript in a widget but I would like to know if it is possible just in a browser, or even better- a stand alone app?

I have a Flash lite app running in a browser on a (old) n95, running flash lite 2 player, and want to 'watch' a variable in the flash app that is changed through Javascript. I am using getElementById[myMovieName] and SetVariable but all I get is an error on the n95 saying webpage not found. I am not sure if I'm referencing the flash movie incorrectly or if it is an issue with Flash Lite and JS communication?

Any help / advice is greatly appreciated,

The answer to first question is No . U can only interlink javascript with flash lite in a widget. To extend flash lite appz in standalone mode , u can use symbian c++ , python , m-shell etc and add many many features. Not much good in JS to answer to ur second question . Hope it helps...

I think u dont have to start from 0 . Check out two of the relative projects :
