handling incoming call event

Hi,

I want to handle the incoming call such that,
a message should be displayed to the user, by clicking which retrieves caller's mobile number and time of call.

How to identify the incoming call ??
I found "CTelephony", the call monitoring API in forum nokia.
Can it be used for 3rd edition or only works with 2nd edition devices?

CTelephony API works nicely with 3rd & 5th edition devices, so you can use it for indentifying incoming call events.
