    i am trying to play sound in Symbian C++ (5th Edition)
    i am using following link

    But i am not able to play file what is my mistake ?

    I have copy this (.wav) file into this in to 3 folder
    C:\s60\devices\S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v0.9\epoc32\winscw\c\Data\Sounds
    C:\s60\devices\S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v0.9\epoc32\winscw\c\Data\Sounds\Digital
    C:\Symbian\carbide\workspace\MusicPlayer\data

    You should propably debug it and see what does get executed and what doesn't, and also see if any errors are reported in any parts of the code.

    i could not get any error through the debug but sound not playing.

    My filesize is 74 kb.

    you mean to say that your code is running successfully without any error but wav file is not playing. Try to debug your code carefully.

    Also make sure you do set some value to the volume.

    It should work just fine. Here I have created an example to create simple music player in S60 5th Edition, you may like to see and verify what's wrong at your end: Creating custom Music Player with S60 Touch UI APIs
