problem with installation ("invalid version error")

after installing when i start the application it shows an error called invalid version

pls help me in this thks in advc....

Things to check:

Did you compile with the "target 1.1" option?
Have you preverified the classes?
Do the fields in the JAD and Manifest match?
Is the MIDlet-Version in the right format? (Somthing like 1.0.0)
Do the MicroEdition-Profile and MicroEdition-Configuration in the Manifest specify MIDP and CLDC versions that are appropriate for your device? (Check the device specifications.)

Hi,

Most common problem is your MIDP settings. Check that you are using MIDP2.0 and CLDC1.1

We have created a application for 3rd edition feature pack1. We have created self signed certificate and created the Sisx. the application gets installed on the phone but when we try to open the executable file. we get error file type not supported.
