Symbian-Guru just reported that AT&T will start selling the E71x as of next week (see http://www.symbian-guru.com/welcome/...iced-nice.html).
Does someone knows if the E71x will also be sold in Europe (Switzerland)?
Thanks!
Regards,
Jochen

You can easily find if that phone really exists and if it will be available on a certain market by visiting http://www.nokia.com/products or by reading Nokia's press releases.

Thanks for this fast feedback! I've checked the official Nokia product page already....
Sounds like Nokia has no phone for me this year :-(

Well, according to reports on the web, the E71x gets an update to 3rd Edition FP2. If that holds true, it's much more than just a special version for the american market.

Interestingly, http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/ does not yet think the device exists. :-) In this case, I consulted the page to find out if the E71x has a distinct Device ID that applications need to know about which somehow fine-tune their behavior specifically to the E71. If the E71x indeed uses FP2 rather than FP1, this would clearly merit a Device ID of its own.
Still none the wiser about this particular question, even after consulting http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...fication_codes which seems to be the most comprehensive list...

I have also added 1xE71x to our RDA service today if you need to test something on it.
