Prototyping Application for Keystroke Dyanmic Stats

Hey,

I'm trying to write a prototype application to capture the keystrokes
of a user while writing a text for use in designing a maths model for
a biometric application for symbian based phones. I have never used
python before but have come across keypress and key_code but I can't
seem to find a lot of information about them. Basically, I'm trying to
find out, is it possible to script this type of application? How would
I about capturing all keys? Do I have to bind each key and if so, how
would i go about binding for characters such as 'b'. I have found
examples for UP, DOWN, 1, 2, 3 etc but nothing in relation to
characters.

Any help, suggestions or push in the right direction would be great.

i have not played much with keys but AFAIK you can simulate character keys pardon me if i am wrong. And if i guess correctly binding the character keys is not possible yet.
