download costs of app to phone

We need to know what way apps are being delivered. ie. can WLAN be used to download app or do we have to use "over-the-air" testing and the large costs this involves.

This is a good question...clearly there is complication with operator billing if it is downloaded using wifi, though perhaps it can still do it so long as the phone has a SIM in it to identify the user's account with the operator.

There shouldn't be any problems using one method for download and another for payment.

For example, you can use Nokia Maps and Nokia N-Gage with WLAN or PC as the data download method and phone bill as the payment method.

The only requirements for phone bill payment are that there's a SIM card in the phone, and that your network operator supports such payments.
