Hi,

I am not able to access http://discussion.forum.nokia.com from firefox today and submitting this thread from IE. I know this is not right forum to ask; however wondering if I am alone or some other people are also facing this issue. Error I am getting

    Redirect Loop

Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.

The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is

redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.

    * NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it is probably a server configuration

    issue and not your computer.

I found the problem was something to do with the cookies, so remember to clear all those as well.

If I logoout using the logout link on the top link then this occurs.
    Download Symbian OS now! http://developer.symbian.org

    I am getting a:

    Redirect Loop

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Clearing cookies & cache, and restrating FF did NOT fix it. Do i need to clear ALL the cookies or just *.nokia.com ?

    This is rather problematic!

I cleared it by going first to the http://forum.nokia.com page, logging in there, and then navigating to the discussion boards from the main/home page using the links.

Is it just me or this really has nothing to to with Symbian C++?

I totally agree that this is very annoying. There is similar problem with Google Chrome. Often we I try to follow a link from google web search results, discussion.forum.nokia.com (or perhaps other forum.nokia.com) pages are not opened and just annoying note about redirect loop is shown. I'm pretty sure there is something done wrong in the web service.

This issue has persisted since Firefox 3.5 beta on multiple OSs, Linux, Windows and OS X (now on 3.5.2 and still occurring). If you search this discussion board you'll find that threads discussing this issue have attracted 1000s of views so the issue is real and widespread.

FN support staff: please urgently escalate this issue to your technical support as you most likely won't like to alienate your Firefox using developers!

Figured out that removing not only forum.nokia.com but also *.nokia.com cookies AND restarting the browser fixed the issue on Firefox 3.5.2.
