Carbide is IDE and generally carbide C++ means symbian OS C++. goggle "symbian os c++" you will get lots of stuff.

I am not aware of any book but the IDE has an excellent Help (take that as an eBook) and the video tutorials are great too (see sticky thread on this forum)

Maybe you can mention about specific difficulties you are having with Carbide.c++ documentation, besides not being available in an "easily" printable version.

Since Carbide.c++ is based on Eclipse, depending on the difficulties you have, an Eclipse book could be a start. But, in my opinion, Carbide.c++ is better that the Eclipse one.

Even if you use visual studio the syntax will be the same, because carbide is just IDE and you need to learn Symbian OS C++ for syntax & programming. I suggest you to learn basic fundamental of symbian os c++.

Carbide.C++ is not related any syntax. The Syntax you are talking about is Symbian.C++ Syntax. Sop try reading basics of Symbian.C++
