Reading chunk of data from video file.

Hi dude,
i am recording one video file ,at the same time i want to read chunk of data from the same[recorded ] video file.and created new file with the same video format[3gp].
so please suggest me that we can or not in symbian.and also tell me that new created file will be play or not.

If you create a copy of a file, the copy will usually work...
However accessing a file which is already opened for writing is not necessarily easy. If traditional Open happen to fail, check RFs::ReadFileSection, that may still help.
