Listbox showing a waiting dialog

hi to all! i would like to create a listbox with two selections, this i have already done, i would like to ask, on where should i put the code that would determine if what selection in the listbox has been chosen and a waiting dialog would appear? thank you!

Could you explain a bit more ?

How are you doing the selection (is it by menu, or by clikcing the middle key of the arrows )?
And what should happen when something is selected ?

BTW, Have you checked wiki for wait dialog implementations.
