Download email content from remote server?

I want to write a background program to download the email content from remote server. How to implemente that?
Now I can use MTM APIs get some email information from remote server, but don't know how to get the whole content.
Pls help me!

What server, what content, whats the exact use case? Are you talking about truncated body content or attachements etc.? Are you trying to download it yoursefl directly (why) or get the messaging component to do it (why).
