Problem with actionscript file

In our program there is a .as file, where is some code. It should be run when a button is pressed, but we just can't make it work. The problem is probably that we don't know how to call a actionscript file in code. We found an example which has a working .swf file, but we can't make it work using only .fla and .as files of the example.

Umm...i recommend u to go trough certain theoretical examples to understand the concept of classes and their usage in flash lite via .as file.Please take a look here:
