    Good day!

We've been creating an application that needs to access the phone's user files. However, we're just able to access the phone's system files.

After researching, we've stumbled upon these links.

    [1] http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ad.php?t=67884
    [2] http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...d.php?t=122123

In [1], it says its not possible to access the user files using java but this was back in 2005. While [2], says it could be accessed using java, this one's a newer thread.

However, we're still unsuccessful. Is it really possible to access the user file's using java? Or is it only possible accessing using C++?

    Thanks in advance.

Depends on what you mean with "user files" and where they reside on the phone. In any case, whatever files are accessible, they're accessible via JSR-75 FileConnection APIs, if yo want to do it from a J2ME MIDlet.
