Mifare Classic 1k or 4k NDEF mapping

I'm wondering if there is a specification, white paper, etc. describing how to store a NDEF on a Mifare Classic tag?

I've been searching the forum, web etc. and didn't find anything (except how to store it on a NFC Forum Type 1/2/3/4 Tag).

I took me a long time to figure out that byte 9 of the Mifare Classsic Sector trailer has to be 0x40 if a Text NDEF is stored on it. Otherwise the Nokia 6212 says 'Tag can not be used.'.

I think you would need to ask from NXP. Mifare Classic is not one of the NFC Forum tag types, so NDEF mapping on them is proprietary.

For all those of you who might have the same problem:
After asking NXP's technical support, they sent me an application note which describes how to use a Mifare Classic tag as NFC Forum tag.

When i use mifare UL tags to store the URL, Alarm using the Nokia's NFC share tag functions its works fine. is that means the software comes with the device handles different type of tags and react accordingly ?

Yes, the mobile phone knows the type of the tag and figures out the proper mapping to use (as documented in the NFC Forum Type1-Type4 NDEF Mapping documents).
