Bit confused here... so this is going to be like blackberry or something that you have to have company to publish applications? Seems like in on the registration forum for the ovi store.

(If this is true when will people learn from the iphone... support indies please)

AFAIK the OVI store is only for companies, thus you got it right on that point.

Could anyone guide me toward any app stores besides iphone that dont mind if your a college student?

I was thinking about entering your widget competition but since I cant even get my widget published in your app store if I lose than I see no point
