Hi,
I dont usually have any problems with Flash on my phones. Nearly all Nokia websites are written using FlashLite compatible flash code. Quite a lot of the Ovi website uses Flash 9. This is not usable on most phones. Basically you cannot navigate to a ".SIS" file for an N95 because you get a circle spinning for over 5 minutes, may be for ever.
The page never loads. This will have a huge impact on trying to sell over the air or even access via WLAN. Therefore you cannot load the "Ovi share online" .sis direct to you mobile phone because of Flash failure.
95% of Nokia websites can be viewed on a mobile phone because they are using Flash versions that work with mobiles. Please check that phones listed can all browse Ovi websites in particular the N73 and N95 using the original firmware.
Please check that all the "share online" web pages http://europe.nokia.com/A4388352 because this cannot be seen on an N95 with firmaware version 21.0.0.16 rm-159
This software has to be loaded via the Application Download menu function, the go online an selection Applications and select the second page to find "share online" and click download.
Basically the workround would be to use the http://mobile.nokia.mobi or copy the nokia.asia.com
<div align="center" id="flashcontent">
<p><strong>You need to upgrade your Flash Player - Flash 8 is required</strong></p>
<p>Please also ensure you have javascript turned on.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash">Get/update Adobe Flash Player.</a> </p>
</div>
Clearly this text buried in the web page is not correct because there are no upgrades and Flash code version 9 used on Ovi does not work with some listed phones. Please go back to using FlashLite compatible code
When you get the file
"SO3.0.08.23_S6031_OS_U.sis" loaded everthing works fine
Thanks and Good Luck
Jim
