I am working on a project which will use a robot to travel to embedded NFC tags and collect data from them. The robot then returns to a Nokia phone and passes the data to the phone.

I am looking for advice on how to find:
1) chips / modules that support NFC
2) best phones for controlling robot and collecting data from robot
3) discrete circuitry that supports NFC
4) best NFC protocol for exchanging text data ( for commands and data )
