XMPP standard c/c++ client porting

Hello guys,
I found interesting XMPP parsing library for Gizmo (Iksemel), but it seems to be one is out of maintanance, no examples of using were googled, no documentation as well. Does anyone know if there were any portings of such XMPP C++ libraries as Gloox to Symbian OS?

Did you wrote your own client/library?
