    I am a .net developer (c# 2.0)
    and I am totally new to the mobile apps world
    I need any one to guide me how to begin and what is the tools that I would need to write programs for the
    Symbian platform

    what should I do as a C# developer
    can I use the .Net framework to write programs for nokia phone for example
    or should i use the carbide and code with c++ !!

    I have just downloaded the s60 SDK for N97
    and also the carbide ,how I would begin with that !

    can I use the MFC to do that kind of stuff !!

    I am really so confused and I need any one kindly guide me to the start point and point me to the tools that I should use to do the right thing

    See http://www.redfivelabs.com/ for a .NET Compact Framework version for Symbian. Otherwise, you can't use C# to develop for the N97. And there is no MFC.

    You can use Java, Symbian C++, Python for S60, Flash Lite and also write web run-time - WRT - widgets).
