Location based services

Hi,
I would like to ask if the Location Acquisition API is available for the version S60 3rd MR ? I can't see clear answer now anywhere, I've seen everywhere "S60 3rd", but not more detailed version specification.

AFAIK, they have been available from 2nd ed FP2 already, thus 3ed MR should not be any problem. Though I can not remember any OS 9.1 device that would actually have GPS, thus update the firmware and see whether you can use network based positioning, or should you actually get external GPS receiver.
