ViewSrv 11 panic : when menu button of 7650 is pressed on an active app

hi Folks,

I need your help in this.
I have written a series 60 application. i start my application and my main
view (which shows a list) of the application comes up. Now if i press menu
button (button on the device which takes one to the menu options list of the
device) on the device 7650 to go to menu options of the device, then after a
few seconds i see following panic dialog.

App. closed
Menu
ViewSrv 11

I couldn't figure out why this panic comes.
This is stopping me to start any other app when my app is running..

ViewSrv Panic 11 means that the application has hung too long. You must asynchronize your operations, so that the application responds again.
The view server kill applications that do not respond.

I'm getting this same problem too.

I have already commented almost all the code, but the application insists to be slow.

I don't know what to do to solve this issue.

It is usually not good idea to re-open really old threads, anyway, do you have any Active objects that are running, which you might cancel, and then you actually forgot to implement the DoCancel, or did it badly.

All and all, one way to check what happens and when would be to add some logging where you check current time to some pre-defined time values, to see what parts of your code are executed slowly..

i'm sorry.

I've just found the cause for my problem: when loading the application, the .wav files are loaded too; when I commented the .wav files loading, I got it working fine (fast enougth).

But now I have another problem: how to load the .wav files without crashing the ViewSrv ?
