S60 Emulator 3rd Edition Initial Release

Hi, I've been trying to run an emulator on my pc to test python script for my N73 phone,
which i've check its a 3rd edition initial release.

I've tried download 3 SDK, install successfully but when i try to load the py60 file,
it gave an error message stating "File Corrupt"

the version i've tried is:-

S60_3rd_Edition_SDK_Feature_Pack_2_v1_1_en
S60-SDK-0616-3.0-mr.3.749
S60-SDK-0548-3.0-f.3.215f

PythonForS60_1_4_3_3rdEd.SIS
PythonScriptShell_1.9.4_5thEd.sis

i've install PythonForS60_1_4_3_3rdEd.SIS on my N73, and it was successful.

need urgent help here.

Hi,

Installing SIS files on the emulator won't work (except if they are built specifically for the emulator, and the PyS60 ones aren't).

Here's what you should do:

• Uninstall your emulator and remove whatever folder remains (to make sure you get rid of that error). This might not be needed, but just to be safe
• Reinstall the emulator (if you uninstalled it as per the previous step)
• Download Python_1.9.5_3rdFP1_SDK_with_OpenC.zip or the appropriate version for you emulator and extract it in your emulator's installation folder (right in the folder that contains the epoc32 folder)

After this it should work.

how do i get the emulator bluetooth running?
so that i could test script that are written for bluetooth..
could the emulator detect the real phone?
