Error: Menu Feature not supported in N73

Hello there,
I got a brand new N73 Music Edition yesterday and was very eager to test my application on it. Since i got it very late yester night I thought i'll wait for the morning to test my app in it. I installed the Application that i created using Carbide c++ V 2.0 /SDK 3rdEd FP2 v1.1 . All this Application has is a class deriving from CAknGrid. and some bitmap images acting as its icons.

The installation was successful but there were a few issues.

1.>The default icon of the application was not there.
2.>As soon as I start the application it comes with a error " Menu feature not supported."

Any starters for resolving this.

Hi,

It happens when you use incorrect SDK.
you should use S60 3rd Edition SDK (9.1 or 9.1 Maintenance Release).

hi

i m also facing the same problem.
after installing the app on device, the app icon does not show up and application leaves/crashes in a fraction of seconds.
but the same application is running absolutely fine on the emulator...

don't know why this is happening

i m using carbide c++ IDE v 2.0 with sdk 3rd edition FP2 v 1.1

can somebody help to sort this one out

u mean to say that we cannot use S60 3rd edition FP2 v1.1 with carbide c++ v2.0 IDE
if so then why the app is running fine on emulator?

You can compile it s60 3rd ed fp2..and working fine in emulator but not in device..that's why I've said please compile with right SDK of devices this

Feel free to check the SDK compatibility of the devices, via clicking on Devices above.
Note that backwards compatibility exists (say S60 3rd FP2 can execute S60 3rd MR code), while forward compatibility does not (for example S60 3rd MR devices may refuse executing S60 3rd FP1 code).

i have some problem .
the problem is that when i make a build in s60 3rd FP1 (.sis file) and install on N73 then some error show error is Menu:feature not supported.....i cant understand what actullu happen ...plz help me as soon as possible.
