How to take screenshot when camera view finder is active?

I've used some recommended screen capture apps (at least Screenshot, maybe also ScreenSnap), but I just don't seem to be able to take a screenshot, when camera view finder is active

Any recommendations how to get some screenshots?

What error do you get? Does something happen or nothing at all? What phones did you try it on? What version of PyS60 were you using? Have you tried taking a screenshot from your code?

Screenshot worked fine for me on N95 with PyS60 1.4.5 and 1.9.5.

Was too sleepy to think straight! The "external" screenshot apps don't work, since camera view finder is on. They complain about that being active, take shot after I exit Kameramation. However great many thanx for pointing out that, yes, I can take the screenshot by myself within the application I mean EVERYTHING that the app does, is creating the very image that's on-screen!
