I want to join in the Ovi Store. I'm a J2me developer.

I have developed an application using the PIM API. This app has to be signed to work properly.

Does OviStore sign the app or do I have to do it using VeriSign or similar ??

In other words Do I need a certificate if I would use restricted APIs??

You need to sign your app to be able to publish it Ovi. Whether you are using the optional packages or not. And if you do not have a registered company dont bother trying to get a certificate, because its not for individuals. I wonder how they intend to compete with Apple's App Store ?

Hi,
you can't sign the application through OVI store. For signing you have to log on to Verisign and can sign your application .
