VeriSign publisher id can't be used for Open Signed Offline

I get a response from symbiansigned that I can't use VeriSign publisher id for Open Signed Offline.
I get this response yesterday.
Anybody know why??

Can I use verisign publisher id for other certificate methods??

Carefully read guides, faq-s and other documentation on http://www.symbiansigned.com
Then get a Publisher ID from TrustCenter.

EDIT: hmm, you are partially right, a Google-search with verisign +site:symbiansigned.com still reveals pages claiming that VeriSign is applicable. In this case you may consider sending the to hell, because if they have the resources to paint everything yellow+black, they could have also considered fixing/updating the content on their site...

Versign recently changed the certificate formats to a higher key strength and so have invalidated Symbian Signed as the certificates are now no longer valid.

There are some threads with my name on over on the symbian forums about this issue.
