displacement between two cordinates

hi all..

I have the values of two locations in terms of latitude-longitude. I wish to calculate the displacement between the given cordinates. I have seen a few articles about Great Circle Distance to calculate the displacement. I need some help to create the code for the same in Symbian s60 3rd edition. Please mention the API's needed.
