USB Cable Modem works but not Bluetooth modem ?

I am using AT commands to control a Nokia 3600 slide for sending SMS messages and controlling the phone. The modem has a virtual COM port on Windows XP with works fine when connected with a USB cable but not with bluetooth.

On the control panel I select the modem and choose QUERY MODEM from DIAGNOSTICS. This works fine when the phone is connected with a USB cable but fails with bluetooth. I am not running PC Suite at the time.

Have I an incorrect setting on the PC or the Phone ?

If you don't use PC suite then you should have correct bluetooth dongle installed. Do you have BT driver in PC side correctly installed.
