flash lite streaming

Hi,

I'm currently develloping a radio for Symbian with mp3 streaming. I've first decided to use flash lite 3.0 (I come from Java and I'm new to flash) and I've tested successfully on a computer browser. But when I come to test on a Nokia 5800 it's not working (no sound).

Is it a known issue?
Does somebody knows how to find what causes the error?
Does older versions of 5800's firmware have only flash lite 2.0?

I too have faced problems when it came to Sound on my 5800, although I havent investigated much on it - due to lack of time. Its better for you to check the sound on your Device central. And if it works fine, then from a developer point the major work is done.

I suggest you to try it on Flash Lite 3.1 .As Flash Lite 3.1 supports audio straming. Download sis from here (as you have an old firmware) :

In Flash Lite 3.0, one can stream Mp3 using Flash Media Server & if u like to stream over an RSTP then embed your audio into a 3gp Format. Hope it helps u..
