[moved] Debugging two executables on emulator simultaneously

Hello,

I've two executables test1.exe and test2.exe and test1.exe launches test2.exe. Here i want to debug both executables from emulator. Is it possible.? I am using Carbide to launch and debug the emulator. If i make test1.exe as a active project and launch the debugging session unable to debug test2.exe. Could someone help?

Hi,

Yes it is possible:

1. Select the project in IDE and then select menu item "Run"->"Debug Configurations"

2. In the Debug Configurations dialog set the "Process to launch" as the emulator, for example,
"C:\Symbian\9.3\S60_3rd_FP2_SDK\epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\epoc.exe"

3. Start debugging

4. If your executables are non-GUI programs then you can start them from eshell ("Menu"->"Installation"->"eshell"), just like running a program from MS-DOS console.
