Distributing standalone app 3rd FP1

Is it possible to distribute standalone applications (Python runtime included) for 3rd Ed. FP1 devices?

I've tried using mergesis but I get an error, "input SIS file contains embedded SIS files". I'm using v1.9.5. Is there a Python sis available that doesn't have pips embedded? I didn't see one on maemo's.

AFAIK there is no separate sis available without the pips emebedded in from PyS601.9.4.
