audio streaming using python

I am planning to do a project for real time audio streaming from a PC running on linux into a mobile phone.The PC module will be done using c.The mobile portion will be done using python.Can someone suggest any idea of streaming the audio in the mobile using python.Is there any libraries to for streaming.If not can we implement the same using c++?please help..

AFAIK there is no API available which is specially dedicated to audion streaming.

Yes i guess you can make a extension for audio streaming using native symbian C++.

yes you can do that you can create native c++ extension modules and use that in Python.I am not familiar with what all APIs you require for that in symbian c++. For writing extensions you can make a search at the forum nokia python wiki.
