    Hi,

I am trying to use some thirdparty sdk which has LoqTTS6Client.LIB and a LoqTTS6Client.dll file.
LoqTTS6Client.lib file has a header file called ttssession.h file. I am not able to use these library to import the ttssession.h file. I have added the path in compiler section in .mmp file, But it doesnt show this libary file in library list. Please guide me how to use these libary in carbide c++ 2.0 professional IDE.

    Thank you
    Theja

    Hi skumar_rao,

I tried entering LIBRARY LoqTTS6Client.LIB in .mmp file. And setting compiler path to epoc32\release\winscw\udeb folder.

It didnt recognize the library. How can I see, what files are there in .lib file. Is there any tool to view header files inside .lib file.

    Thanks
    Theja

when using carbide.c++ you must not edit MMP file directly instade use MMP editor.
in MMP editor -> Library section -> Add you library.

    Hi,
I checked .lib using LibViewer tool. I dont see anything called ttssession.h file.
But, It has all the method declarations, expected. I am totally confused, how to get it working.

    Thanks

for simplicity copy your header to Epoc32/include and lib,dll to corresponding folders in EPOC32 of your SDK then try again.

A Google search for LoqTTS6 gives me an enormous amount of crack/warez sites, so I can not really find out what it is. Otherwise the filenames are a bit suspicious to me. Are they really intended to be used with the emulator (are they Symbian/S60 API-s at all?)? If yes, does the package also contain files for the device? Just because you have not mentioned them.

I fixed the linking .lib file to linker by adding a entry in .mmp file and copying header files to epoc include folders.
    Thanks skumar_rao for your help.

@wizard_hu_ : Loquendo embedded TTS is available for symbian s60 phones.
